Dirty Boiler

Clean Boiler

Boiler is filled with ½ of hot water and ½ with steam. Purpose of the boiler is to deliver hot water for tea through the water valve and the steam through the steam valve of your espresso machine.

Mineral deposit inside the boiler is minimizing your steam pressure that you need for your lattes and cappuccinos, changing a taste of the hot water for your tea, and damaging gaskets inside and outside of the boiler and causing a variety of leaks.

Dirty Heat Exchangers

Clean Heat Exchangers

Located inside the boiler. It is exchanging the temperature of the espresso water from the water supply temperature to the drinking temperature.

Mineral deposit inside and outside of this device is minimizing its heating efficiency, causing cracks on its body and reducing the amount of water exiting from the exchanger that causes varieties of blockages inside the pipes, brewing valves, water controlling devices and group heads of espresso machines.

Dirty Flow Meter

New Flow Meter

This device is controlling amount of water that goes into your espresso cup. It’s made out of a metal body with an electronic part on top of it. As the size of mineral deposit increases, the inside diameter of the entrance and exit points of this device are decreasing and producing less water then initially pre-programmed. The result of this: your espresso shot will be shorter and bitter.
